Naran Automotive Teases a New Front-Mid-Engine Hypercar

A Special Car, Indeed

Naran Automotive is a new hypercar manufacturer, and it just teased its first model. The vehicle will wear the company’s name as its own, and it will be a front-mid-engine layout, according to Carscoops. It will chase after vehicles like the Aston Martin Valkyrie. Naran Automotive has made some pretty big claims about its upcoming model.

The car will feature a twin-turbocharged 5.0-liter V8 with a claimed output of 1,034 and 764 lb-ft of torque. That engine will be placed behind the front axle but in front of the cabin of the car. The transmission is unknown at this time, but it was reported to send power to all four wheels. The car will be able to sprint to 60 mph in 2.1 seconds and 100 mph 4.5 seconds. The top speed should be between 230 and 250 mph.

The car’s body will be made mostly of carbon fiber, and in the teasers released by the company, it has an aggressive style with a lot of sharp angles. All of it is optimized to produce great amounts of downforce. Naran said the car is capable of making 992 pounds of downforce. There are venturi tunnels in the front fascia and a giant fixed rear wing. Right now, the company is testing the car at Nurburgring and Imola. It’s shooting for a mid-August start for sales.
