Lamborghini takes an ultra-avant-garde turn, with the help of Japanese fashion designer Yohji Yamamoto. Teasing an all-new Aventador S dressed in a distressed black-and-red color palette, the car which follows the theme of Yamamoto’s fall 2020 menswear collection, showcases an array of punk red plaids, dots, and painterly stripes, alongside a dizzying interior of unique upholstery accented by stylized Katakana and Kanji text in contrasting white.

Speaking to the inner anti-fashion, and cerebral individuality that exists within us all, this collaboration which highlights the distinct, timelessness, and abundant passion of both brands, launches alongside a dedicated venue in Roppongi Hills dubbed The Lounge Tokyo. Following in the same vein of The Lounge New York, this standalone outpost is designed to not only highlight key events, such as art exhibitions, conferences and other gatherings, but offer a typical Lamborghini lifestyle experience to distinguished guests including, prospective clients and their families.
No collaboration with a distinguished designer is complete till the announcement of an exclusive clothing capsule – and the Lamborghini x Yohji Yamamoto apparel does not disappoint. Featuring a mod coat, bomber jacket, and hoodie inspired by the designer’s latest collection, one can only speculate that the line will be available on designer Yohji Yamamoto’s official website or the new Tokyo Lounge within the coming months.
